WhatsApp Chat
What it is for
Section titled “What it is for”WhatsApp Chat groups the messages arriving on and leaving the company’s WhatsApp line by phone number and shows them as chat bubbles. You reply to the customer’s message from here. If the sending number matches an account’s phone, the list shows the account name instead of the number.

Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”Sales and customer relations staff. The screen uses the same permission as CRM: View on the CRM row of role page permissions. Sending a message does not ask for Add separately; anyone who can open the box can reply.
Screens
Section titled “Screens”- Chat list (left): account name (the phone number if there is no match), the time of the last message and a preview; a sent mark appears if the last message is yours.
- Message pane (right): incoming bubbles on the left and outgoing on the right, each with time and, for outgoing messages, delivery status; template messages are marked.
- Reply box (“Write a message…”): send with Enter or the send button; “Message sent.” appears on success.
- 24-hour note: free text can only be sent as a reply to a message received in the last 24 hours (a Meta rule); otherwise a template is needed.
