Customer Display
What it is for
Section titled “What it is for”The Customer Display (Müşteri Ekranı) shows the items the cashier scans, the subtotal, VAT and the total to pay on a second screen the customer looks at. During payment the Received, Remaining and Change amounts also appear. There is nothing the customer can do on the screen.
In Quick Sale the basket is not written to the server until payment completes, so the screen does not read the basket from the database; it shows the information the register screen publishes. The register and the customer display must be two windows opened in the same browser.
Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”The cashier opens it and the customer watches it. At least View on the Quick Sale page of the role screen is needed to open it.
Screens
Section titled “Screens”- How to open: choose Customer Display from the exit links at the top right of Quick Sale (the link shows only if the display is switched on in settings). A separate window (1024x768) opens; drag it to the monitor the customer sees, and it shows the current basket right away.
- Basket view: lines, Subtotal, VAT and Grand Total update as items are scanned; with an empty basket the business name and “Your items are being scanned…” show.
- Payment view: Received, Remaining and Change.
