Customer Display
What it is for
Section titled “What it is for”The Customer Display is the second screen the guest looks at. It shows the lines of whichever check is open at the register, the subtotal, the VAT breakdown and the total to pay. During payment Received, Remaining and Change also appear. There is nothing the guest can do on the screen; it only displays.
The numbers on the screen come from the same source as the check at the register. The total shown to the guest is the amount to pay including VAT.

Who uses it
Section titled “Who uses it”Cashiers and waiters open it from the register; the screen is managed by the register. At least View on the Restaurant / Order page of the role screen is needed to open it.

- Payment view: Received, Remaining and Change published by the register.
- After closing: when the check closes and the register screen is cleared, the screen returns to “Welcome” and “Taking your order…”.
